I didn’t like the movie Solo, but would defintely go back in time to watch Millennium Falcon starring these guys.
One of the most endearing qualities from Masters of the Universe is how unique the character design was. They threw everything plus the kitchen sink into these designs.
*These are also all available individually, along with the group of nine. Please reach out.
Hard to find a word better than iconic to describe the Masters of the Universe villains. There’s still about 18 more that I’d like to get around to drawing.
*Like the heroes, each of these are available individually. Please reach out and let me know what you’re interested in.
She-Ra and the Princesses of Power - Heroes
Knowing is half the battle. G.I. Joe - Heroes
Feel the magic, hear the roar…
Muppets 4 life.
Voltron: Legendary Defender - Heroes
More Masters of the Universe heroic warriors!
M.A.S.K. - Mobile Armored Strike Command!
Team Avatar (Avatar: The Last Airbender).
Masters of the Universe - Snake Men
Three classic slashers from our favorite 80’s horror movies.
Ratbat! The best fuel auditor this side of Iacon City!
Boba Fett – The Empire Strikes Back Style
The Clone Wars had some ups and down, but overall, a cool series.
The most dangerous beings in the galaxy.
Heroes in a half shell.
THE heroes of the 80’s.
Na-na-na-na-naaaa na-na…
Top tier video game — Mega Man 2.
Logo designed for a minor league baseball blog. Few things say “baseball” like that “Red Sox” font.
I JUST missed out on being a Spawn guy, but he looks pretty neat.
Hal Jordan is my favorite superhero. I think Ryan Reynolds did a great job in a bad movie, but still think Chris Pine could really BE Hal Jordan.
Hide your droids.
Classic 1980’s horror goodness!
Still determined to draw a decent Luke Skywalker. This time, as part of the journey of “Anakin’s” lightsaber, which to me will always be Luke’s.
A pure, indelible cinematic moment.
The absolute best thing about the Prequels – Ewan McGregor.
My band wanted a logo. So I made us one.
Snow White is probably the first movie I ever saw.
I am 100% a child of the 80’s. If you didn’t have a sword in the 80’s you weren’t shit.
A Troian Bellisario-inspired Wonder Woman.
There are VERY few things I love more than Transformers. Here’s my take on the only one of the three jets I had the toy of: Thundercracker.
I had a weird compulsion to draw the Stunticon Breakdown, so I did.
She-Ra and the Princesses of Power - Villains
The visually cooler-looking team, G.I. Joe - Villains. COBRA!
Mumm-Ra art… the ever-living.
Sunny days…
Voltron: Legendary Defender - Villains
Another round of Masters of the Universe evil warriors!
V.E.N.O.M. - Vicious Evil Network Of Mayhem!
And some bad and not so bad guys (Avatar: The Last Airbender).
If you have a problem, if no one else can help, and if you can find them....maybe you can hire, The A-Team.
David Tennant and Michael Sheen as Crowley and Aziraphale from Neil Gaiman’s Good Omens.
The infamous Jay & Silent Bob.
Orphan Black, one of my favorite series. This cast was flawless.
I really liked that The Clone Wars character design really leaned into some horror aspects for some characters.
Stone cold killer designs from the Original Trilogy.
One of the most ecclectic collections of villains.
You can’t beat these bad boys. The best (worst), 80’s cartoons had to offer.
The Brotherhood…
Spectrum’s got that super vision…
An unused logo for a Hellboy/Starbucks crossover job. I still think its pretty cool.
THE Kings of the Seven Seas - Arthur Curry, Aquaman!
The animated series Batman will always be my Batman. Specifically the 1997 redesign when it became The New Batman Adventures.
My Star Wars wish would be to go back to 1980 and film a Han and Lando space heist movie with Harrison Ford and Billy D. Williams in their prime.
Like Randy Newman, I love LA. I also love sports. So I mashed the major LA teams together in what I think is a pretty slick little logo.
A little walk through of Luke Skywalker in the Original Trilogy. Mark Hamill is always incredibly hard for me to draw.
Another Luke. Probably my favorite character in all of fiction.
I did this Justice League series with the idea of making their likenesses that of some actors that have, or I think would be great in the role. For J’onn J’onzz here, I used Carl Lumbly, who voiced him in the 2001 Justice League animated series.
I didn’t think I’d like anyone else but Tim Curry as Pennywise, but Bill Skarsgard really made me believe.
Much like Mark Hamill, Daisy Ridley has a difficult likeness to capture.
No one defends the universe harder than this cavalcade of soulful heroes.
A McSoss poster based on Rob Liefeld’s The New Mutants #87. A very fun project to work on.
Here’s the original 36 Transformers from the 1984 cartoon. Excluding the Constructicons of course.
*All of the Transformers characters are available individually as well as in these grouped layouts. Please reach out if you’re interested in someone specific.
Incredible show that deserved more seasons.
Ghostbusters has got to be one of the movies I’ve seen most. As indelible a part of my childhood as Star Wars and He-Man.
Cobra had the coolest soldiers. I’d join Cobra just to wear a cool uniform and helmet!
Your intrepid crime fighters.
Timeless classics.
Original Optimus Prime Toy Head — SO much weirder than the cartoon version we all know by heart.
Megatron’s toy head. I hated this toy as a kid, but grew some appreciation for it while trying to draw it.
KISS aways had a cool aesthetic, so I felt compelled to draw them.
An adorable little Daredevil Chibi that Disney HATES when I try to sell.
The Owl House!
The fastest man alive! I tried to give this classic DC version some Grant Gustin vibes.
A fun idea from my brother that I brought to life. Go Pens.
Lil’ Margot Robbie Harley Chibi.
These seemed no-brainer’s for adapting to a Super Mario Bros. theme.
Another Super Mario Bros., 16-Bit power up!
Maz Kanata. Not easy to draw, satisfying when finished.
The inspiration for the other Masters of the Universe portraits above. The tw-headed Modulok here is a perfect example of the beautiful weirdness that are the Masters of the Universe character designs.
One of the first pieces I did when I really started leaning into Illustrator for caricature work.
My favorite Disney movie? Sleeping Beauty.
As a huge Pretty Little Liars fan, I think Ian Harding would make a great Superman. So this is my homage to the idea.
The character designs for the original Transformers cartoon are so cool, I needed to take a swing at them in my style.
*All of the Transformers characters are available individually as well as in these grouped layouts. Please reach out if you’re interested in someone specific.
The top nine Decepticons. Its amazing to me how great a job the cartoon did of giving each of these characters a distinct personality. Except Frenzy, who was barely featured.
*All of the Transformers characters are available individually as well as in these grouped layouts. Please reach out if you’re interested in someone specific.
Fortunately, there were eighteen Autobots that originally crashed on Earth. That made the selection process easy.
*All of the Transformers characters are available individually as well as in these grouped layouts. Please reach out if you’re interested in someone specific.
More Decepticons including Reflector so was both cool and dumb for being identical robots.
*All of the Transformers characters are available individually as well as in these grouped layouts. Please reach out if you’re interested in someone specific.
Transformers: The Movie Autobots
Transformers: The Movie Decepticons
Netflix’s Voltron: Legendary Defender is one of the best animated series’ you’ll ever see. It takes the great from the original, and expertly builds on it.
You’re the Worst is easily one of my favorite shows. This is an example of a “just for me” piece.
The Megazord.
Personally, the definitive vision of Batman.
So many good Animated Series villains I had to leave some great ones out.
